Philosophy
ven·ture
n. An enterprise involving some risk
in expectation of gain.
Our clients are ventures, pursuing
opportunities. Often these opportunities are beyond their current
resources. While evaluating a potential opportunity, we help our clients
identify, calculate, and pursue the gains — and we also help them
identify, calculate, and mitigate the risks.
Our clients are primarily high-growth existing enterprises, though not mature
bureaucracies. Occasionally we work with high-potential "startups." Our client
base is a mix of for-profit businesses and not-for-profit
organizations, and represents a wide range of industries.
al·lies n., pl. One in helpful association
with another.
Our relationships with our clients must be helpful for them —
the gains acquired from
the opportunity must exceed the materialized risks. In that
way,
growth is accelerated, and the client's enterprise is strengthened.
Our relationships
often begin with short-term projects. If we prove trustworthy,
we hope to cultivate long-term associations. Also, our relationships often
begin with fixed fees, and if we prove helpful in building the enterprise
we hope to share in the value created.
MISSION
We help determined entrepreneurs and innovative managers build valuable
enterprises.
VISION
By helping build valuable business and social enterprises, we hope
to be energy for our community.
